A Loft Conversion with Character
Bromley, London
This original bay-fronted Victorian building was converted into four flats in the 1980s. In 2023, a loft conversion was added to further enhance the property, creating additional space with two new bedrooms and a bathroom, effectively maximising the building's potential.

BEFORE
Before the loft conversion, the flat had fallen into disrepair and had been used as social housing for many years. Its condition had deteriorated over time, and the space was in need of significant refurbishment to bring it back to its full potential.

BUILDING PROCESS
During the renovation, the building was fully insulated to comply with the latest building regulations, significantly improving its energy efficiency. The loft conversion introduced roof windows, flooding the upper floors with natural light. The interior layout was carefully reconfigured to maximise space, and an additional floor was created, adding two bedrooms and two bathrooms.

COMPLETION
The renovation resulted in a top-floor flat that was expanded with an additional floor, increasing its size from 51 sqm to 110 sqm. The layout was reimagined, transforming the property from a two-bedroom, one-bathroom flat into a spacious three-bedroom, three-bathroom home. A bespoke kitchen was installed, and each room now features built-in wardrobes for added storage. The master bedroom boasts a luxurious en-suite, completing the transformation into a modern and functional living space.
